Causeway Energies Advisors Meeting Marks Year of Accomplishment

Yesterday we had our second full advisory group meeting.  Out of an abundance of caution we reverted to fully virtual instead of meeting in Dublin as we originally planned.  The meeting was nevertheless a tremendous success, marking the accomplishments of 2021 and our growing momentum to bring geothermal energy to the fore of decarbonising heating of large buildings and industry.

Our 2021 accomplishments include:

Building an expert team and advisory group;

Our first public grant to conduct technology development work on geothermal energy in Northern Ireland;

Progressing analysis of the subsurface aspects of closed-loop geothermal systems;

Building a collaborative network of business partners and research organizations; and

Engaging with our first potential customers.

Our advisors gave us some super advice on our priorities for 2022.  In short: full-on with customer applications of our market ready solution, while keeping the technology pot boiling (pun intended)!
